Father Jacob W. Post Council #14464

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men who work to actively influence society by promoting Catholic values. The Father Jacob W. Post Council was founded in 2008 through the efforts of Msgr. Francis A. Nave. It is named after Father Jacob W. Post, who was the the first pastor of Sacred Heart Church.

The Father Jacob W. Post Council works closely with Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish by sponsoring various fund raising efforts, providing support for parish initiatives and fostering fraternity amongst it’s members. The Council meets once a month.

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. Squires Circle

Council 14464 is in the process of starting a Squires Circle. Under the guidance of Christian Brother Barnabas McDonald (1865-1929), the first Columbian Squires circle was instituted in 1925. Membership in the Squires is for Catholic boys between the ages of 12 and 17. Squires’ activities are many, varying from spiritual to active service for the Church and community. Each circle elects officer members from their own rank, teaching skills of leadership and responsibility. Please direct all inquiries to SquiresCoordinator@KofC14464.org.
